PandaKrab
What is PandaKrab?
PandaKrab is EVIL's isk making SIG that allows people to make isk in capitals like Rorquals, Dreads and Carriers in relative safety. We aim to protect krabs by fighting whaling fleets with BLOPs and caps. In order to obtain access to PK, you need to join EVIL's cap group, after which you can apply to PK. This area will be expanded as we develop the infrastructure to run this SIG effectively.
Krabbing regulations
To ensure the effectiveness of the umbrella PK attempts to form, regulations are necessary to eliminate the krab from being the point of failure. Keep in mind that these are for your own benefit and to ensure your relative safety. These are needed to effectively pass intel and respond appropriately. Failure to follow these regulations, will result in you not being saved.
- Make sure you are in the right auth groups and have access to the right discord and mumble channels.
- Be on comms are in the right channel on mumble and in PandaKrab standing fleet.
- PK standing fleet is only for capitals. Subcaps go in the regular EVIL standing fleet. Are you using a Rorqual to boost a subcap fleet? Put your subcaps and Rorqual in the regular EVIL standing fleet, but keep your cyno in the PK standing fleet.
- Ensure and double check that you are within jump range of BKG-Q2
- You must have a force recon alt in the same system you are krabbing in, ready to go.
- Notify the PK FC team of your activities in the appropriate discord channels. Who, what, where!
- Use fittings as provided by PK, failure to fit according to regulations will result in a fine and after repeat offenses, removal from PK.
- Act accordingly to traffic signals (red/yellow/green). When an FC is not fleet boss, red light is automatically issued. Presume that when there is no PK standing fleet up, a red light is issued.
- When tackled, fill out the following format in the #help-i'm-tackled pings channel on discord to notify the rest of the alliance:
@FCs
Tackled (Rorqual/dread/carrier) pilot:
System:
Where: colossal ice belt/ planet 1 moon 1
Cyno Status: Cyno ready/dead/lit in PK Standing Fleet
PANIC Status: PANIC ready/used/70% left
Tackled by:
- Make sure that when spotting neutrals or hostiles, you relay intel in the appropriate channels. See it, say it, sorted!
FC instructions
The acting FC's are responsible for running the standing fleet, assessing threat levels and coordinating a response to hostiles entering space and/or when PK capitals get tackled. These instructions serve as a guideline with which acting FC's organise the standing fleet and responses:
- Ensure that acting FC has fleet boss at all times. When acting FC is standing down, find a replacement and transfer fleet boss. If no replacement can be found, issue a red light and disband the fleet.
- Ensure that you have the appropriate intel ready. The three W's, who/what/where, are absolutely necessary to properly and timely respond to threats.
- Make sure that krabs are on comms with the appropriate fits and have a cyno on standby.
- Whilst you have a number of response options, standing fleet should have a bridging titan on standby at all times as well as one shield buffer FAX, and one armor buffer FAX. PK relies on escalation superiority; you really need the above to be able to properly escalate.
- When a response is issued, notify the rest of the FC team, specifically a Strat-FC of the situation.
- Make sure you have access to the appropriate intel tools and use them religiously to maintain situational awareness.
- Lastly, ensure that you have plenty backup cyno's ready to go in case extra escalation is necessary. It is vital you maintain absolute escalation superiority!
