Communication Setup Instructions for New Alliance Members

Removing ESI and Discord Apps from Previous Alliance
Before joining the new alliance, it is essential to ensure that all ESI (EVE Swagger Interface) connections are removed
from the previous alliance. This includes not only EVE ESI but also any Discord applications authorized for use with the
previous group.
• To remove EVE ESI, navigate to the following link and remove 3pp apps: https://community.eveonline.com/support/third-party-applications/.
• For Discord, open your Discord settings, navigate to Authorized Apps, and deauthorize any applications that are no longer needed.

Registering with Communication Tools:
Communication within the new alliance requires registering through the designated authentication system. It is important to start this process with your main character and then add additional characters as needed.
1. Register on Auth using the instructions provided at https://insidiousevil.org/.
2. After registering your main character, link your other pilots by:
3. Going to Member Audit.
4. Selecting Register. This will open a new page displaying your current characters.
5. Choosing New Character Login and logging in with EVE to add your second character.
6. Repeating this process for all additional characters.

Accessing Mumble and Discord
To join Mumble and Discord, follow these steps from the authentication page:
1. Under Services & Groups, go to Services.
2. Select the Discord mark to set up your Discord access.
3. For Mumble, click the check mark to receive your Mumble credentials.
4. Open your Mumble client and select Add New Server.
5. After first connecting, enter your password when prompted. Upon successful entry, you should be connected and ready to use Mumble

Configuring Mumble for Fleet Communication
Setting up push-to-talk keys in Mumble is required for participating in fleets.
Detailed setup instructions can be found at http://i.imgur.com/KRcwhlc.gif.
• Push-to-talk allows you to communicate in your current channel only (yellow icon for Mumble version 1.3 and above).
• To talk specifically to the Fleet Commander (FC) channel during a fleet, use the designated push-to-talk shortcut key (blue icon for Mumble version 1.3 and above).

For Coalition services use the following link and do the same as you did for alliance ones regarding discord and mumble.
https://auth.wintercoalition.space/
In this one you can only add your main account.

Alliance Rules and Guidelines

Please thoroughly review the following rules to ensure compliance and avoid issues in the future. Each rule is grounded in
the principles of respect and common sense; all members are expected to treat each other with professionalism as part of the same alliance.

PvE Activities
Ratting
• PvE activities are prohibited in rental systems. Members should utilize [EVIL.] sovereignty space for ratting.
• Escalations originating in friendly space may be completed. Havens should be reserved for Area of Effect (AoE)
ratting groups, such as smartbombers or Edencom ships. Otherwise, sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Forsaken Rally Points and Forsaken Hubs offer ISK/hour rates comparable to Havens, excluding escalations.
• Rally Points and Dens provide opportunities for escalation drops, including Pithum A-type and B-type modules.
• Capital ship ratting is not recommended.

Note: AoE ratting refers to groups of three or more characters utilizing any combination of smartbombing ships,
Stormbringers, and Thunderchildren.

Exploration
• Limit exploration to [EVIL.] sovereignty space.
Mining
# Tax Structure
• A 5% tax applies to r4–r16 ores.
• A 15% tax applies to r32 ores.
• A 20% tax applies to r64 ores.
• All contracts must be initiated from your primary character to the Corporation Management.
• Taxes can be paid in ore (stored in BKG or W-4) or in ISK, calculated from the Jita-sell reprocess value.
# Cherrypicking Policy
• Cherrypicking is strictly forbidden in sovereign space and on moons, with exceptions for Venal Moons or by
leadership discretion.
• The first violation results in a fine of 100 million ISK per owned character; fines triple with subsequent offenses.
• Extracting high-value ores (typically r32 and r64) without authorization incurs additional taxes: 25% on r4–r16 and 50% on r32–r64, along with a violation notice.
• Four violations (across moon and anomaly mining combined) will trigger a warning and may result in further
disciplinary actions at the leadership’s discretion.
# Mining Equipment Restrictions
• Crystals or equipment creating non-zero residue are prohibited on ores above r16. This includes using T2 strips
without crystals on moon ore.
• B-type modules must not be used on r16 or lower moons.
• Only Mining Drone I is permitted on moonbelts due to residue limitations.
# Rorqual Usage
• Rorquals may be used for mining only when adequate protection (such as an umbrella) is in place.
• Operators must have a cyno alt present on grid and possess a minimum of level 4 PANIC skills.
# Fleet and Mining Prioritization
• Mining activities must not interfere with fleet operations. Members found mining during critical fleet formations
will incur double taxation for the subsequent month.
Diplomacy and Incident Handling
• Diplomatic incidents must be avoided. Should unauthorized mining activity be observed, take a screenshot and report
to Rudy without engaging or attacking the individual.

Standing Fleet Procedures
• When setting up a standing fleet, enable Free Move and add extra squads as needed.
• Ensure flag exemption from fleet warp in capital ships.
• Occupy command, wing, or squad positions in the main squad to prevent awoxing.
• Create a standing fleet if none exists, but avoid having multiple active fleets simultaneously.

Awoxing Policy
• Engaging, interfering, or harming blue entities is strictly prohibited, including activities such as spying,
killing, or scamming.
• Self-defense is allowed.
• Unattended anchored warp bubbles may be destroyed.
• Not Purple Shoot It (NPSI) fleets are permissible.
• Do not engage if you land in blue space; immediately warp off any active combat grids.
• Scouting for the fleet is prohibited.

Skyhooks
• Theft of skyhook assets is strictly forbidden.

Diplomacy Agreements
• Do not interact with Phoenix Co. sovereign space or structures under any circumstances.

Market Seeding
• Relisting items solely for profit is not permitted. No maximum percentage markup is currently enforced; the goal is to maintain prices close to Jita values.
• Some items may cost more due to import fees or buffer requirements.
• Purchasing all stock of a specific item type is discouraged unless necessary; do not do so without justification.
• Adhere to the core principle of professionalism and mutual respect in all market activities.
